Haddington Running Club Race list 2017
Below is the list of all races that will be used to crown our club champion this year. In order to be considered for the award you need to take part in a minimum of 4 races over two different distances i.e. 2x5k and 2x10k or 1x5k, 1x10k, 1 half marathon and the Dunbar 10 mile race.
We will assess and score your performances in your age category as opposed to actual race place/time as we feel this opens up the award to all club members rather than the quickest over any one distance.
As well as the club champion we will also have the following awards;
Jog Scotland most improved 5k
10k champion
Half marathon champion
Marathon champion
Please keep a note of your times and places to assist us when we look at finalising the prize winners later in the year.
We will be potentially having 3 bus trips this year. The one confirmed trip will be to Jedburgh at the end of October for the 10k and half marathon.
There is an option to take a minibus to Strathearn for the marathon and marathon relay. The relay has 3 legs made up of a 10 and two 8 mile sections. I will see what interest we have in the next couple of weeks before submitting teams.
The final bus trip will be with our friends from Dunbar Running Club for the Pitlochry 5k and 10k on Sunday the 17 September.
